Was originally advertised at £15K

Gradually dropped to sub £10K.

Still a bitza, sporting a set of UK clocks showing 599 miles.

i do wish the genius who thought it worth 10 was smart enough to know how to knock the tab washers on the brake disks over

Cvs were not an option elsewhere they were the norm!!
Only the UK , Austrailia ,.....and S. Africa apparently got slide everywhere else got CV ...so this is either an import , or a bitsa ....so not retorted rebuilt . :roll:

slide carbs were too 'dirty' to get through emissions laws in many countries, particularly the north american market, so their 1000's came with cv's the same as the 1100.

engine number is the giveaway. 1000's have a gs10 prefix

Yes both GS10...

Barrels have 998cm on the front lower NS (LH as you sit on the bike)

Wow you really have toooo much time on yer 'ands :lol: Or have you actually visited gods city to view this superbly restored example ...apart from the naff seat , the tab washers , wrong carbs or wrong market! :D
