rear spacer for sprocket carrier change

Post by BigLT » Mon Jul 25, 2011 4:55 pm

I'm putting a Katana rear sprocket carrier on a GSXR 5.5'' wheel (slingshot 1100 I think)

There is a spacer in between the wheel and the spocket carrier. Do I use the one off a Katana, or one off a GSXR?

If anyone can help it will save me a bit of fiddling

Thanks in advance

Liam

Thanks for your help. I have done a lot of searching and I'm going for a Kat rear sprocket carrier, 180 tyre and a 5/8 front sprocket. From various sources that should be ok, but I know I won't know for sure til it's on. I'm using an a/m off 'who-knows-what' so the other spacers will probably have to be unique, but I'll measure the width just in case. It's just the one between the rear wheel bearing and the sprocket carrier bearing that I was asking about... for now!
