the vent hoses need to be open and can hang if you want... if they're facing upwards then thats fine too... they're not fussy

mick says he got the CD with info on it..... if it's the same cd as the one i got off katana central then it has the manual in jpg format on it?

i have a cd for the 750 and the japanese was only part of it..... if you want to PM me your address i can send you a copy.... or i can zip up the various sections and email em to you... they're quite large in their various sections though... if you have a half decent connection then i can always do that if it helps?

Give it some bigger pilots. That should sort it. You must not buy new ones, but use special taper reamers for jets.

I didn't think 'arris pipes made any difference to the jetting (but I might be wrong).
Also, 3 1/2 turns sounds a bit much, more like 2 1/2....

Just spoke to my mate who has a 750 and his screws are 2 turns out, no jet changes for idle with a Harris.
Hope that Helps. I have a reserve tank for carb setup if you need to borrow it.

if you don't have a reserve tank, just get some flexible pipe and connector hose and get your original tank a lovely chair beside your bike
