Finally getting around to replacing my plates and encountered a possible problem. I ordered the parts from Suzuki and upon installing them i found i have 1 steel plate too many. After putting them all in i have 1 steel plate left to go on the end BUT theres no space to fit it on the hub and it would be steel on steel with the pressure plate on the outside.
Do i just leave it out?

the first steel plate goes on behind a spring clip, then it's fibre-steel, fibre-steel and so on. there's 8 of each. if you didn't take the large spring clip off then you left one steel on which will account for you having one left over...

AHHHHHHHHHHHH righto. I did look and ponder about the sping clip and the plate behind it. Thanks for that
