Oil pickup debris
I don't think the oil strainer should have these bits in it
Now I need to work out what they are parts of.

Re: Oil pickup debris
Is that a bit of clutch cover gasket in the 2nd picture bottom right?
Are they metallic? Magnetic?
If not, likely to be cam chain tensioner or clutch plates…

Re: Oil pickup debris
The item is rigid plastic, black with a very distinctive curve on the face, also has a straight edge in 1 corner, looks like camchain guide to me but which bit?

Re: Oil pickup debris
Crankcase now dismantled & nothing is missing or broken
Signs of impact under crank on No1 Guessing to 'tinny' noise was the extra bit hitting the oil baffle plate under No 2.
So get a few o rings on the way home tomorrow & get putting it back together, hopefully ready for Odd Balls Rally

Re: Oil pickup debris
Scrap that, part found in pickup now identified as bit of cam chain tensioner where the plunger sits, but mine isn't broken
