All I'm getting out my crystal ball is "Error 404"

And previously mentioned ABR chappie is a bit of a glass half empty type as well

So I'm still keeping the July dates free!

Again playing devils advocate ....how likely is it that France in July is doable? I mean it's very likely that ferries etc will be running to plan BUT as things are going we are going to need to do PCR test :x and or quarantine on return if not on out ward journey :?

I know it's months away but with France back in a lockdown again again .. it's difficult to see how they can go from that to free movement .....probably possible travelling overland but politics are at play

Now if it going to happen for us should we consider our Man'cee Kat that weekend to coincide .?

Just a forward thought.

Totally up for that captain!
There might also be a possibility of a pub site being available just north of Taunton if you fancy the trip south?

The fact that although my reservation for the site early this year was confirmed by the landlord he did not ask for payment up front, which he normally would do. So I take it for a hint that the whole thing is still on halt and will be a last second decision. I would not be surprised, if Alex shows up shortly cancelling the rally as things seem even worse this year.

now there's no-one who likes a ride out in a different country, with friends, beer, music and banter more than i.... but, like ya say fossie, there's no saying travel will be free even if France get their numbers down... BUT there's no knowing what will happen in 3 months time either. France are now banging out 500 000 vaccinations a day, i've no idea of their "wait" time between 1st n 2nd vaccinations however so...?

in theory, all limits wil be lifted mid june in UK but what will happen over the water is anyones guess considering how much the French love those from the UK :)

ManceKat... from 17 may, BoJo says its ok as long as there arent more than 30 of us which, tbh, would be nothing short of a fucking miricle for that many of us to see each other lol... need a venue and thats it.

So today the green, Amber, red lists were produced ....France is on the Amber list , at this moment I struggle to see how it will get to free movement sans paying for tests both ways . My ferry is booked my 3 weeks are booked off to incorporate the tasks a l'maison et un voyage dans moto Classic.
But at the moment I could just about get permission to travel because of the house , though once there I couldn't leave for 10 days and need a test 2 X in that period and before I left . Travelling on is a no no .
In reality we are looking at 2 months for a complete turnaround on the French side .
Is it really possible ? I feel like someone will have to call it ....but when is our cutoff to get sorted?

personally, i think it worth hitting it on the head and calling it off til next year.... thats my opinion but ill not be paying for x numbers of tests to simply ride somewhere for a few days and then go home again. i realise is a good few months away but prices will rocket once restrictions are lifted/eased also so it just makes it an expensive week away.

i think leave it but :-/

Looks like not a whole lot of people are going. Some of my German buddies didn't even know about it. My ferry is booked, carried over from last year and I have flexi ticket. Perplexed! Just have to play it out..

Mrs Fetishkat and meself have just had an email from our ferry company ref rebooking for next year. Is it safe to assume that Eurokat is off for certain now?
If this is the case wasn’t there talk of an event next year? If so was a venue actually decided on?

As far as I know the event isn't officially cancelled YET...so no alternative sourced YET .
So much depends on the French ministries organisation ( not phrase I would say normally ...French and organise together ! Add politicians ,!!!)
I personally think June will be the better view of the future ...hopefully.
