82 Katana 1000 (work in progress, but she will be beautiful she has a dedicated sugar daddy)

Don't these tanks need repainting - read on the Australian Katana FB page that they are not finished in 13L ?

I read that too; they're another colour because Suzuki can't get 13L either.
It's faster to break than to repair.

I still have the original mangled fuel tank from when my brother crashed my 1000 when he owned it, circa 1983. It is stored in the box that the replacement tank came in. The part number on the box is 44100-49301-13L.

YD8 is the colour code for Sonic Silver used on the Final Edition models.

Best source of info is Alexandre’s Katana France website
