Re: Nice 650
It does indeed look very nice ....except for the wheels, why do they just powder coat the whole wheel in bright white....it should be broken up with the silver edges and a duller white , this is just to ..Jesus.......!!!
Also 30.000 miles , it's a UK clock on a jap import ...don't suppose it matters it'll be MOT and Tax free in a few months. Because it was registered before it was made!

Re: Nice 650
And back! Last time ended at £1905 which was very reasonable, but now it's back on at £1995 Should have just gone with it first time ....
This time he mentions a slight misfire on no3 . Are you going to put £grand into a bike which you know needs investigation
Probably just the choke cable needs detaching and putting in the bin ....or a sticking float Eitherway ....it's a reason lower the price not up it!

Nope don't care about other bikes having all white wheels , it's just if you are going to do a job , do it properly ....bright white on a 650 is just naff.....just like other bikes period

Re: Nice 650
AND ITS BACK AGAIN .... So it went for 90 quid less than this classified ad ....would you bother for 90 quid!
It is however a new seller than the original lister , who should it in August , so disappointed new owner or mate relisting scenario .....either way registers a doubt.

Re: Nice 650
Hi ,
The 650 on eBay is my bike and not the original one that has been mentioned ...... it has a Marshall 4-1 for a start.....
Unfortunately I now don’t have time to look at the mis fire as I’m moving house and not anywhere to keep it....I’ve spent over £2k on it....
Sensible offers accepted ..... 07739154911.
Thanks,
Ian

Re: Nice 650
Thanks for the link Bob.
I will be sad to see her go as i’ve spent alot of time and effort on it ( sorry about the over white wheels?! .....it was always meant to be a rider and not a concours display item...
I’ve done about 100 miles since getting back on the road and enjoyed the ride.....Marshall sounds great.
Bike Tech in Stoke did some work on my carbs as I don’t have the equipment or the expertise on this side.....had them cleaned ultrasonically originally and then Bike Tech replaced some parts and balanced them again. New plugs and checked sparks.
Cheers ,
Ian

Re: Nice 650
Apologise for any confusion , but both bikes restored the same in same area .
In truth getting £2000 For a 650 no matter how good they are is going to a struggle on eBay...
Classield ads in classic sections of mags may be a touch more successful , but as time is an issue.....
Good luck Ian every 650 deserves a good home.
