Kinda off topic, but what else is new for the wacky Yankie, I had this KLR that I couldn't give away, ran great, but it just wasn't selling so I drew some pix and did a goofy caption on Craigs List.

Wording was = The wait is over, Elvises KLR is finally on the market!!! Act now and get this hunka hunka burning KLR!!!!

I'm not sure why he is holding a sward in this actual pix of him riding through what looks like a very dangerous terrain.

Also I found an archive shot of him wheeling in Hawaii and what looks like him shooting a ManBird with a machine gun.

KLR 650, new front knobieish front tyre, new chain, sprocket and counter shaft, 3000 miles or so and tons of stock parts!!!!

I just upgraded my 200 dollar roll away Husky Home Depot tool box with a 5 dollar Snap On fridge magnet.

Back in the day I had a 2000 R1, I took off the R1 stickers and put on R6, I blew away a Busa and 1K's sport bikes on the street and local 8th mile tracks and 1/4 mile tracks. They couldn't believe it. Being 6'3, I made the R1 look small as it is. Fun times.

yeah, r1 forks and blue spots/wheel etc, zx9r rear wheel with afteermarket (metmachex? ish) swingarm.

By my count I make that 10 bikes that Johnr has in his shed. It must be some shed.

I now have serious shed envy.

I can only manage two bikes alongside two small cars in my garage, and I have to do most work outside.

tbh ther are more than 10, in no order, theres the bantam, the c15, the m21, both wm20's and the triumph, then theres the dr650, th bmw, the 650 kat, the gsxr engined kat and the innova 125, then theres the dr engined kat, and a yamaha v twin custom thing that we dont like to talk about, then there are two 1100 kats in bits and two 750 kats in bits, then theres a bit of a 400 and a shitload of parts, outside lives a 1980's saluki sidecar thats destined for a katana, and the wifes 125 suzuki gs painted up like a kat. oh, and some manky old honda 200 that came years ago and its owner forgot about it. thats 18 ish which is a bit of an improvement, as i was in the mid 20s not long ago, i am actually trying to thin the fleet down a bit more so at least 3 or 4 will be going sometime soon. the triumph does nothing for me, the dr650 is due a bit of a fettle and then it will go in the spring, and then i need to work out where my heart lies with the others...

love the little hondas bob. im off for the weekeend touring the lakes on a little honda step thru that ive been tuning. its now 150cc with a race cam, big valve aftermarket head, race pipe, big carb and inlet. its a propper tool! great fun.

ok, day two, and back a bit in time with some of these. first off, my latest project, tweaked honda innova, started as a 9bhp innova 125, now its tuned a fair bit, i reccon its over 15bhp, but im aiming for 20 but it needs some headwork, but can wait till winter.

this is a monument to my crappy timing. this is a 6v honda 90 from the early 1970's, i bought it with 3000 miles on it in this completely original condition and sold it for 500 quid just before the prices of these absolutely skyrocketed. if i had this now, i could draw 2.5k for it. such is life eh!
