Thinking?

Post by PaulD » Thu Jul 23, 2020 12:49 pm

Not made my mind up 100% yet but I’m thinking of a change from my Kat. I thought I would ask if there’s any interest on here first and get an idea of what I can expect to get. The bike has a Jarma 4-1 on it at the moment but I’ve got a standard black chrome system which I can fit and the new owner can have both with the bike along with a few spares and a new MR2 headlight I’ve not got around to fitting. I’m not desperate to sell it and I might even change my mind.

Welllll I’ve been to a bike shop in Keithley to drop a two stroke crankshaft and barrels off for refurbing today. While I was there I spied a beautiful Z1300 he was selling at the right price. I had a Z13 a few years back and always regretted getting rid. The only way to fund it is to sell my Kat. Like I said I’ve not made my mind up 100% and I ain’t going to give the Kat away for silly money after all the work I’ve done on it so I’m just seeing the reaction I’ll get here. The shop owner will do a deal but you can bet it won’t be in my favour.

;) No way is he in Kieghley going to do you a favour, and right price is what he gave the last keeper....
But hey if you regretted the Z13 and wish to rekindle the affair then go for it....just remember the adage it's never the same on the second visit.....(would you with your ex?)

Is it shiny? That's all that matters!
Shiny bikes hide the mechanical malaise under its bodywork if I remember correctly.
Is the Z13 forum as easy going with handing over the parts you'll need or at least without the Zed price hike. Just saying!

Yes boss it’s very shiny but unlike the Kat having owned a Z13 before I know them inside out ;) in still a member of the Z13 owners club and they have a good helpful membership with a comprehensive spares network. Not as good as our site here you know but good 8-)
Like I said nothing is set in concrete and I ain’t giving Beelzebitch away so we shall see. I do hope I can still be a Kat club member if I do wander over to the “dark side” I’ve made a fair few friends here and you can always put me in the naughty corner
