It would seem that this has today been cancelled.

yep, it seems that thanks to the current outbreak of corvid19 coronavirus, this years nabd rally has been cancelled.
however, as disappointing as this is for us as a club, its going to be devastating financially for the nabd. this event is their big annual money earned and finances much of the good work that they do keeping disabled bikers on the road. so, as a start off, im going to pay for my ticket anyway and urge as many as can do to do likewise. all those ticket sale donations will go some way towards plugging the financial hole in this years accounts for this most important of charitys to us bikers.
so, im buying a ticket anyway, will you do the same?, Then, as a club, whilst we might not be able to go, at least we can all not go together......

this is the paypal address for the nabd, if you want to continue to support them, please consider donating the money you would have spent on tickets using this link. and dont forget to add gift aid to your donation to boost it by 25% if you are a uk taxpayer.

When I renew my N.A.B.D. membership, I always add an extra contribution and I will continue to do so.
But I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we could make a contribution under the Katana Club banner. I'm sure we have a few sheckles in the kitty to spare, and think of the brownie points we would get. Just saying.

We will be paying into the NABD kitty as a club. We are looking into doing our own get together , but will need to give it a week or 2 until life has settled a touch .....so we haven't given up.

For the record as soon as we are allowed to interact I have a couple of places to be able to allow us to host a get together . It will be back to basics but will have real ale .....and music etc...camping , maybe some hotel or rooms about a mile or so away ....
Can't give any details because we obviously don't know when..... Just thought I say we are thinking of you.

Nice :). Used the KAt yesterday for my work commute of 35 miles each way. Loved the bike and empty roads :). Missing all my KAt friends :). Stay safe girls and boys

Ha Ha, tent setup in the garden - good fry up this morning! Bit of a bugger trying to try the Kat with all the camping on through the gate to the rear garden though...
