Oh indeed :D :D :D , I shall be keeping an eye on that one as would like one in my life... and who knows...

Pity about the handle bars but there are some 400 ones on Ebay (they are the same), but top yoke is different to the 400, so need a 250 one (or is that a standard one that has been modified?). Front mudguard I could live with but the 250 guard and bracket are different part numbers to the 400 (shame as I have a 400 front guard spare as well).

Can you see anything else that is different?

Somebody is bidding..... ;) UB. ;)
A grand to buy ...£300 min to deliver , register, mot etc . Will need a battery ,£40 ish , carb internals £60....if ultrasonic bath is available to you . So if all works out OK £1500 but will need cosmetics if the purchaser is fussy.
This is about market value really .....unless someone ups the bidding. :?

:-( but was always going to be the case. It's £999 start is reserve not met so they have put a higher reserve on it this time.

I really don't like buying bikes by bidding on Ebay - it never works out for me, plus some people just get carried away.

Side story on getting carried away - one of my customers does outside farm machinery auctions and one this summer I was at setting up the IT and 4G, I saw a newish looking Sealey 24l compressor. Quick Google and saw you could buy it new delivered for £125. So I stuck a commission big on at £60, plus there was VAT on that (no buyer premium). I watched the live bidding on the net and saw it went for £175+VAT so someone at the sale itself - that's £210 for it with no guarantee. Madness! So I find that I go through what Fossie does, above, calculate a value, add the extras (like delivery, registration, etc) to get a rough final price, but invariably there is always someone who will just keep bidding to win at all costs!, hence I never win the bid type sales.

£1488 but reserve not made, I put in £1478, so my guess is that someone else had a higher amount but under the reserve, so quite possibly the reserve is above £1500 I would guess.
