With dealers offering low mileage nearly new at those prices, then if you bought one new at rrp you have lost £2.5k in the matter of months, more if you wait until next year to sell. This probably explains why I've never had a new bike...
It's a shame really for Suzuki as the interest in Katana's from a new set of people, I believe, has been good for the club. You can see it fading away...
.. unless that Yoshimura one works out - though it still has a 12 litre tank I guess.
Yoshimura’s custom Suzuki Katana set to be unveiled at EICMA.

Re: Cheapest GSX-S1000 Katana yet
This is the very bike I took on a test ride . This ad appeared while I was at the dealership dropping off the v strom for a service......we discussed the katana while I waited for a lift back ( Now using the old bandit for a few days... )
Anyway they have sold 1 new Katana When I suggested that we had seen them for £9195 or slightly more with samurai kit and tail tidy ...he promptly set this ad....
Still £6000 too much'

Interesting coincidence... fossie rides a bike and it instantly loses an extra £1k in value
