Yes Mick, should be nice and bendy but harden with age. Try dropping them into hot water as this usually helps soften them up for fitting your carbs back on. Ideally replace them with new but they're not cheap if you can even find them.

Dont take any notice of the KOC Jester  ;) .....Dont use WD40 Mick! They need to be grease free or they will just pop off the carbs as you tighten the clips!..........

Boil them up in a pan of water or even in a pressure cooker for 20 mins, and then re-fit them and the airbox to the carbs as quickly as you can before they go hard again!

Yep that will help !..........or even a heat gun on a low setting! You Dont want to melt your airbox do you!

I do own a hair dryer.............I use it to warm stuff and dry paint when the weathers cold! ;)

Hi
The hair dryer trick works a treat!
its all in place pop the hair dryer in the airfilter hole, let it warm up and on they go!
tried and tested if ther still a bit hard just turn on the dryer for a bit longer!

I tried hot water and ____ me you have to rush your arse of just to find you've burnt your hands and it gone cold!

If your into that sort of thing go for it, I did and thoughly enjoyed it!
