It won't be the tank from Crooks that sold for :o £ .....that one was the later sonic silver.....this bike has obviously been standing as an ornament for years :roll: :? Waiting for the right time to realise the return wanted...

:roll: oh hang about when you have a lot of Kats then some will be ornaments at times :)

But I do have a Tamiya model that has never had petrol in the tank..........is it collecting value also? ;)

I'm up for a bike that's done 41000 miles with no fuel being put in the tank :) If you squint at the pictures the tank does seem a shade or two darker than the fairing and side panels, maybe it is the tank that was on e-bay.
