There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

i bought a new tank from slingers in preston in 1995, when it came it was silver with the badges on like this one.
and i got change from a hundred quid!

That's pretty damn good! I had to get a new popup tank from RO Clarke in Norwich (now gone) which was around 1997, and then they were only doing them primed and that was £180 plus I had to get it painted.

kats were just another old bike back then. i swapped a scrap land rover for another kat 11 at around the same time. thinking back, i should have just started buying all the kats i could find and storing them, could have been retired by now!
