GS650G Katana H&H Auction

Post by Uncle Bob » Wed Oct 31, 2018 10:43 am

This looks like a fairly honest bike but the images do show some corrosion and it was a Cat C in 2011.

The estimate is £2000-£3000 and then add 15% buyers premium. There is a reserve on it and the online bidding starts at £1000 (£1150 with premium).

To me looking at what has been about it's around lately, it's a £1400 bike, so interested to see what it does.

Yep looks very tidy, £14-£1500 .
Would be interesting to know what the insurance valuer thought it was worth to write it off can't have been much and how much did it cost to bring it to this standard.

Maybe Ebay isn't the best place to sell your classic...

The 650 went for £1800 plus 15% fees makes a total of £2070. Better get your old German one running Fossie and in the next one!
