Re: Modded 1100
Why are these 'specials' always missing the contra rotating clocks? its the best thing about the Katana
Re: Modded 1100
With a smaller wheel and cable drive the speedo would read quite a bit faster than the true speed, so no speeding tickets, no different to my 250 Kat, at 80kph (50mph) its revving at 10,000 rpm, you get the impression that you're going twice as fast as you are

Re: Modded 1100
odd choice of running gear really. considering that by all accounts the rf900 was a grat bikee let down by very basic and low quality suspension and running gear.

Re: Modded 1100
£4000, hard to say if a good price or not really . Interesting though.
A one off is a personal choice , invariably the next owner will change something , which adds to the purchase price but not the value.
As we always say it is worth what anyone pays ......only they can say it was worth it!
Imagine if you'd spent that much on a horse.....it would cost you hundreds monthly even if you didn't use it.
