On eBay at the moment in Birmingham. (192437657028)

Looks scruffy...only shows 10.000kms. ;)

Well let tell you the first 1 is missing :o
It's full reg is J437 TBA And its says R Kat on the bottom of the plate.
I didn't look like this just under 4 years ago when I sold it.
I did in another 400 post earlier this week say it was reliable. It has new carbs and brakes.
I have followed its life because people have phoned me about katana stuff. But didn't know it had moved to the Midlands.

someones butchered the paintwork and it looks like the left side pillion peg mount has either been terribly welded or has had a pigeon roosting on it and shitting on the tubes.......

Is that a performance mod, I must buy some.
I was thinking that they are leaking (as mine did) but if you cover them up the MOT man isn't allowed to move them to check so it passes.

If it was a tad cheaper I'd probably take a punt if just for parts, knowing it's really 110000kms puts me off but what really does it now is knowing it was looked after the Fossie way :D

Seriously it was a cracking machine, all my bikes are mechanically sound.....difficult to earn a living on a bike off the road!
As I said when it was rehomed it had new brakes , and hoses , new carbs, new cdi.
It's a Yoshimura stainless system by the way.

When I sold it to Dave from Nantwich he commuted on it , but I don't think he ever had access to a wash point, judging by his other Kats! He then sold it to a chap in the Wirral who was on here and always had projects , I sold him some bits for other Kats.

I don't know when it recieved the stealth paint work or interesting welding. :(

I don't need another bike but I wouldn't hesitate at taking a punt at less £800.

That would mean I'd made £200 profit? :o

Oh and the covers on the shocks aren't anything to do with me, they are monoshock covers , fitted probably to disguise leaks , as has been mentioned. :?

I hope he does, we miss him, with out him I'm the daftest one on here!

I got a message from vendor that starts fine now he drained what looked like fine sand from the float bowls. :?
I wouldn't be put off by what we know is milage , though we don't know what others did, but they added very little milage.

Got to admit he did good work on his other Kats .....apart from black wheels

OMFG....£1466 :o for a spare and repairs 400. Even if was a really tidy one which this clearly isn't. Wow ....I have no doubt it wouldn't take much to be back to a nice machine. But! ;)
