Well it finally arrived on Tuesday. Looks good, probably some work to do if I wanted to (cleaning / polishing etc) or just do a Fossie and ride (that'll be it then!), but unfortunately after getting flu just before Christmas and just starting to feel better at the weekend, my little 'un (bless her!) passed a stomach bug to me Monday night so it was all I could do to get it in the garage and close the door so far. Not even tried to start it.
Though I can look at it longingly on the CCTV I installed in the garage (as I had a spare system for testing...)

In my notes (Page 1, second post from bottom) of this thread, on importing from a non EU county I have added some more info, as you can't use the online NOVA system to register a vehicle ready for DVLA. You have to download a C384 form and send with your documentation (that VAT is paid if it has been) to get the vehicle on the NOVA system. Not quite as straight forward and if your courier paid the VAT on entry you need the proof from them - see the extra details in the post about that. Anyway, my new 1100 is on the NOVA system so MOT next.

Re: Nice Italian Kat in Switzerland
Finally I have found the time to MOT the Swiss Katana today and it passed no problems, so all the paperwork is now sent to DVLA and hope they will issue the UK Registration with no drama's (fingers crossed). I only changed the brake fluid so far for the MOT, so I'll do a valve check, oil and filter, balance carbs and ride for now.
Had to ride it there it it goes well enough. I note that the clutch doesn't rattle at tick over but it's bloody heavy so I am guessing someone upgraded the clutch springs.
Can someone explain this: my other Katana I can put on the centre stand no problems, but this one for me is a real struggle, it's as if the centre stand was a couple cm longer or the shocks a bit shorter, but measuring things they all look the same. I can't work it out.

This has come up before.
While Suzuki centre stands fitment are the same, the stop and angle on the stands for each frame is different . It is very possible you have an ET stand fitted. Or stronger springs .
