Re: EFE engines
Surely the GSX1100F Powerscreen is an Oil Boiler?
Not that there is anyting wrong with that, as the pre-steamer B12 is a devolpment of the same

Re: EFE engines
Hmmmm the one I have seen must be 87 - 88 as its a power screen so the 136bhp oil boiler (gsxr1100 motor), whats that worth in todays money ?? may just make me a mad streetfighter thingy, then again I don't need it so maybe somebody else might ??
But but but there is also another behind it which the man said was an earlier model . . . . . . . maybe a quick trip and a little digging next week sometime

Re: EFE engines
powerscreen motors are detuned down to 'just' 100bhp-ish to give them more mid range grunt. accepted logic says gixxer cams and cdi are required to release the extra ponies but i seem to remember theres more to it than that. efe engine is aircooled and just a development of the kat motor, but the gixxer requires all new engine mounts to fit it in the kat frame. i bought a gixxer n motor last year from a guy on oss with a dyno proven 130rwhp and i gave him 300 quid for it, usually they go for a bit more, but 300 for a powerscreen is ok, not cheap mind, just ok. efe motors seem to be starting at about 400 quid these days
