I bought my Katana in 1984 and it was my everyday bike. I toured on it, instructed on it, commuted on it... the last time I rode it was 1996 at Mallory Park in the very early days of trackdays. It's not been ridden since then. It was a Suzuki sponsored day and I bought a GSXR 1100wt the following day (still got that too).
However, it is time to strip it and put it back to where it should be as far as I can. It will be a long term project so no quick progress updates.
I live in North Wales and run the Bikers Retreat so if anyone is in the area or passing through the kettle is usually on. Couple of pics of how the bike is now.....

Strip and rebuild? Hey it looks in better nick than some of ours........well mine! ;)
Smoothrite and wd 40 is all that it needs. :oops:
