ex-member - no bike - got bits for sale

Post by katanatom » Sat Jul 22, 2017 1:09 pm

Hi all.

Having sold the Kat at the end of last year, I'm now clearing out all the remaining spare bits. I returned to the site to post some stuff in classifieds but now it's only for paid up members.

Any way I can get stuff on here for you lot to peruse before I shove them on eBlag?

cheers

Alex

OK, here goes.
- NOS blue tail cover - genuine rocking horse poo
- A standard silver tank - mega bucks please ;-)
- a red SD seat, and the appropriate black tail cover
- used Koni shocks
plus more stuff!
What I have for sale right now is on the list here; http://www.katanatom.co.uk/katana/KOCsales.php

I'll leave them up for a couple of weeks, and if not sold by then, eBlag.

IMPORTANT: The link only works from here. You can not access my page directly, this is to ensure that at least someone keen enough to check in here will see the stuff first!

and the black mudguard too please. im assuming its from a 19 inch front wheel, i bloody dropped a crankcase on mine and broke it so this is handy timing.
now im thinking i like the fork brace too, bloody temptation! ok, i'll take that too saying as my micron brace has had holes drilled in it by a previous owner and that one looks nice. spo thats 85 quid, how do you want paying before i change my mind and buy some more........

Sorry Johnr - someone already bagged and paid for the brace.
SOLD so far is Koni shocks and the fork brace.

And if you have the black tail piece and front guard, them's gone too!

PayPal is all good for me.
PM me your address, and I'll sort out how much postage is.
I'll update my listings on that web page later.

And yeah, the blue one is cheap, but I didn't pay much for it, so rather it went to someone on here doing a nice resto.

Yet to post photos and prices but the following items are also available;

Cylinder blocks with pistons - I have 2x 1000, and 1x 1100, all believed serviceable.
Pairs of wheels
- 1 pair SZ style (realised I have a pair of GSX-E wheels, same size as Katana's but not same Katana finish, they are grey not silver),
- 1 pair SD style.
and one nice used SZ rear, in original finish.
Also a spoked GS front wheel - I think the the hub is the same dimensions as the standard Kat, ideal for retro SZX style rebuild?
1100SD CV carbs - I had these running on the 1000 Kat breifly (like 20 minutes briefly!)
Serviceable brake discs. OK, not mint by any means, but they might get you out of a tight spot!
Front calipers - need rebuild, stood for 20 years
Front master cylinder.
Adjustable clip-ons - 37mm. Might be Tomaselli?? Were fitted to a GSX ET millions of years ago
Yokes - Standard Katana 37mm. (actually have the forks too, but they are rubbish!)
GS1000 top yoke. Was to be modified to fit Kat with normal bars

Will inspect and upload photos over the next couple of days.

BTW the seat, tank, and the yokes/forks are those fitted to the bike as it appears in my avatar.
