Got back from Austria start of the mouth and to my disbelief most places DO not take the Ehic card and this is the same in Finland too. So if your going over to the EU make shore you have private health insurance.
I say this because the miss had a accident over there and it would of cost us well over 3000 Euro's and that's just for the hospital bit with out getting home, good job we had private health insurance.
We where with MPI health insurance very cheep and they sorted it all out.
Just a warning if your going over to the EU as the ehic is not as good as it says it is over here.
