1000 and 1100 are interchangeable... 750, as I recall have smaller diameter header pipes but will still physically fit

Hi guys,

this is the info I've gathered on 1000/1100 exhaust reference through parts list and the net...
Indeed 1000 and 1100 are interchangeable, but bear in mind that all mufflers don't have the same exit diameter (20, 21, 24 and 26.5mm AFAIK) and "decorative" 6 holes surround.
Downpipes diameter always 41mm (750 exhausts 38mm).
Diameters in mm.

ok, a tip for you, if you want to make your expensive stock system last longer when you get it. before fitting it buy a tin of barbequeue paint, not aerosol, but brush on, then plug one end of the pipes one by one, and pour it in and swill it round to coa everything. after you are done let it drain back into the tin and repeat with the rest. then leave it in a nice warm well ventilated place to cure. coating the inside should hopefully reduce the corrosion from the inside from the condensation in exhausts, it might make it last a few years more, particularly if the bikeis layed up in the winter (elastic band and plastic bag over the silencer ends if you do.
