Suzuki Katana Endurance Racer Build at NEC
Just noticed this at the NEC Bike show this year:
http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/feature ... cer-build/
Might be worth noting dates for the Endurance Legends event at Donington Park next May to see it in action...

Had seen that before on the pre-phoenix site. The dates clash perfectly with my next visitation to the North Sea, otherwise I would be there.
6th and 7th of May next year for the race

Re: Suzuki Katana Endurance Racer Build at NEC
won't be going to the rip off NEC, which is a shame as it would be nice to see the katana build, but I think the endurance weekend would be good to go to. Racing and track stuff is always better than shows. Donnington classic festival every August is a great combination of both.

Re: Suzuki Katana Endurance Racer Build at NEC
Frame is made from scratch so not an original...same with swingarm.
Fork tubes are 600 bandit with custom made legs complete with non-working anti-dive in keeping with the original look.
Nice looking dymag wheels and you can literally lift that racefit pipe with two fingers.
I went on the final day and they had one bike on display and another on the bench.
Maybe not evident from these crap photos but it had a fair bit of frame bracing behind the headstock.

As a footnote I think Nigel and Porky have better looking bikes.

Re: Suzuki Katana Endurance Racer Build at NEC
no idea why they stuck on that bit of braided line between the inlet and exhaust cam...
