Just a heads up that Aldi have their version in stock at the moment.
Ginette just brought a pair home and they look and feel very similar to the real thing.
They are the above ankle/mid calf version and are £12.99 which is roughly just over half price of the genuine article. Any shade of black you like!

Might have to go look. My actual sealskins have just started leaking..ten years after I got them. One of their first trips was ek 2 in Germany and my feet were the only dry thing left!
