Photo sizes

So when you upload to photobucket... You should be able to select the size that it uploads...

If they're simply uploaded to post on here then upload 800x600... If you need them on photobucket for your own reference then upload twice... And select different folders to save them to for the different size. Bit of extra time but they'll all be there in the various sizes.

Automatic resize on upload is possible on phpBB with a little bit of coding. Something that should be looked at once access is available.
There are many non tech savvy folks that would benefit from this.
