BT45's are cracking good tyres or the Avon Roadrider is another good'un.

Give Sidcup Motorcycle Tyres a call, (Alma Road, Sidcup) highly recommended.

you should be able to find a pair of roadriders for around the 150 mark online.... tenner maybe a wheel to get em swapped over? that a good £50 saving already.

roadriders are nice... pirelli sport demons are good too but a lil more ££

I paid just over £100 for my roadriders on my XJ at the beginning of last year, i then fitted them myself. Why are they so expensive now ?...
How about giving BCT motorcycles a ring, they say they will beat any price, i've used them and they stick to it..

I paid £150 for a pair of BT45's with the company discount and fitted them myself. If that sounds good to you i could see if i can get you a pair.

Blimey checked bct motorcycles avon roadrider £137 ,will check watling tyres when they open monday but they look to be in the same price range.
Are the avons any good compared to bt45,s
I recently fitted bt45,s to an rd400 ,dont no if its my memory but they seem harder to get on than 20 years ago.I dont like paying someone to fit them but not sure I can at the moment .
Thanks Outrage ill check out the price s and get back to you .Nice to find out your local to me as well as Katgeezer

Compared to BT45's they tip in much quicker, but not worryingly so and they won't make it twitchy or nervous, they seem to grip as well as anything too.. If you get the tyres mail order then take the wheels of your self, a tyre place should fit and balance them for approx £10 per wheel.
