GS650 4K miles on Ebay - What do you think?

Post by Uncle Bob » Fri Sep 19, 2014 6:24 pm

This is interesting...

This GS650 Katana with 4K sold on Ebay for about £2K the end of August:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-650-KA ... 1060421388

Then this one with 4K turns up 3 weeks later with 4K miles and nearly £3K but reading text a slightly different story behind it...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-KATANA ... 1319015792

The first doesn't show the full number plate but is starts with W and the mark on the tank and rack are the same plus you can see the other seat in the background on the new version.

Says he bought it as he wanted one as had one when he was younger - yeah right and wants to sell it less than 3 weeks later?

What do you think? If so I am tempted to report to Ebay for misselling!

Same bike bought and cleaned up a bit, still no mirrors. Winning bidder don't tally with latest seller although feedback does. Unless ebay distort the bidders id as well?

Yes I remember some comments on here when it reached £2k before regarding that was pretty high. Someone has put an offer in but I won't be surprised if this is a ploy to get interest.

Not that clued up on 650's but from a numpty's point of view I'd have said Bobster's 650 was overall in better nick...
