Big heavy 80's muscle baby. If you're not man enough buy modern.
A real mans bike, uncomfortable? Only if you ride it ha ha
I thought it was uncomfortable until I had the Guzzi Sport.

Are you sure it's a Kat? Kat engine, Kat clocks, Kat wheels and forks? Mmm! It's not silver is it!

In my humble opinion the big kat is no worse than any other big bike of that era and certainly a lot better than others. A mate of mine had a 1100 kat back in the early 90's, it was 100% original and maintained that way regardless of cost.

We swapped bikes one day (I had an rg500 at the time) as mates do and I was not at all impressed with the handling or brakes. But I was comparing it to my rg500, not a fair comparison. It however was a lot better than the other bikes of that era that ive tried, namely a moriwaki tuned z1000 and a cb900f2, both where terrible and I could not wait to hand them back to their unfortunate owners, the big kat was noticeably better.

If you accept old cars and bikes for what they are, then your fine.
But if you want to compare to modern, they fail in most departments.
Brakes, tyre choices, handling , the List goes on, perhaps ignorance is bliss and if you never ride a modern bike , then you would never know .
I've had many old cars and bikes, some better than others.
If you don't like it, just sell it .

I'll take that i shouldn't compare it to the slabby as thats the next generation of bikes,
but the big Kat didn't compare to the XN which was a contemporary and handled far better.

who ever thought putting a 19" wheel on a bike the length of a supertanker was a good idea ???

Easy fix... Jack the rear and drop legs through the top yoke. Much quicker steering :)
