Hi All,
I'm more or less ready to split the casings, and while i'm at it it would be false economy to not change the oil seals.
I have dimensions for the gearchange rod seal (12x22x9), but I'm looking for the size of the crankshaft seal (ignition pickup end). I have Suzuki part number 0928330031, superseded by 0928330048.
I can get them from the local bearing supplier at a fraction of the cost that I would pay Suzuki for them (and they would probably be the same make).
Can't seem to see the dimensions stamped on it....
Cheers,
J

Re: 650 Crank Seal - Dimensions?
id go for gen suzuki if it were mine. only because its a lot of faff to discover later that the aftermarket one isnt quite upto the job, is it worth saving a tenner on a seal then having to drop and strip the engine again?

Can't help you with the sizes but there is one on Ebay a the mo.
09283-30048 on Ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-Genuine-G ... 1101498910
£12.90 with the postage
Gear change one is part 09285-12006 I think:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from= ... _PrefLoc=1
Postage all to high on those, but the Suzuki price is only £5.63 so that is what your local Suzuki place can do it for as well - no postage to pay and cheap enough.
