HiI All we know that original Kat 400 colors are:
1. Gunmetal body and black engine
2. Silver body and and chrome engine
My Kat is silver but engine is black. Seems to be originaly painted by Suzuki. Any ideas?

Alot of Gunmetal ones got repainted in Japan to the classic 13L .
Infact most Katana's get repainted in Silver eventually.
alternativley someone in the importers whipped the best body work to maximise the profit potential.
