May seem a strange one this but.......I was replacing a chain , with one I have hanging about, the one going on is a DID 50 VA . Now the rivet link I have is DID 50 VX ,and the pins are too big to fit in the holes. I can't find a 50 VA link anywhere.

Just bad luck or ?

Obsolete chain now I think, you'll struggle to get the rivet link, best bet is to take the chain to a bike shop that has lots of rivet links and see if one fits, but make sure it fits properly. I know I haven't got one in the workshop or I'd send it up.

Cheers. Unfortunately the type of bike shop that keep stock are no longer around in these parts, they have all gone just new Shops that order next day or shiny showroom types that can't find anything with out a model and part number.

We have just the sort of bike shop that might carry parts like that, & luck would have it I'm working around the corner from it next week...I'll have an ask for you.
