You could try to get you an old V&H pipe. The headers will fit on the Gixxer head as well.

Exhaust craft is a guy you could try for a one off solution.

Also: headers off a B12 Akrapovic or Dutch make BOS plus custom link pipe plus muffler á gusto.

Hi Pedda,
its the length of the downpipe where it comes out of the head, diameter wise i know the V&h headers will fit;The problem is the headers are not long enough where they come from the head to the point of the bend, they dont go far enough out for the pipes to clear the centre fraim rail at the lower front.
thanks for the reply moby.

if youre in castle douglas then its not too far to go to whitehaven and see exhaustcraft, theyve a top class reputation for quality, and you can have stainless or ti pipes! not cheap, but the best quality stuff seldom is.

As I understood it you take a GSX engine with a Gixxer head? Then the stock header lenght should do. If you use a full oil cooled engine, then you're right, you'll need longer headers.
I made me some adaptors when I had B12 engined Kats. No problem for an average skilled welder to lengthen headers instead if you don't want to go that route.

Pedda,i have a GSX1100 bottomend, efe barrels and GSXR1100 head, neither the downpipes from the gsxr m4 pipe or the standard downpipes from my 1100m are long enough to clear the front centre frame rail,im going with the small adaptors for the M4 pipe fro the time being to get it up and running, but i think i,ll get a pipe made, thanks for the comments though, every little bit of info helps.would like to post some pics, but am shit with computers.
