pop up tyre

Guessing this is too big. Its rubbing on the sides. 110/90/16

Will try and lift it up with some spacers.

I think std is 100/90/16 if you use spacers it pushes the mudguard out over the wider part of the fork leg, be carefull.
I've just had to do the same, as mine has the same size tyre, strangely though the standard size on mine is 120/80/16, but the 110 seems really tall, my model even has a slightly different mudguard for clearance but i still needed to space it.

Cheers Mal, actually....i just remembered....i might have another wheel somewhere in the garage. Wonder what size tyre is on that ?

Happy days. Found a decent tyre at the back of the garage.100/90/16

Its 14mm narrower than the tyre on at the moment!!! No wonder i thought the brakes were binding at the front.

The black plastic on the back was really tight onto the tyre sides!!!
