hi all im running 36 mm slingshot carbs on my 1168 katanait runs well but has a rough patch at about 2000 revs it clears by 3 it drives through ok under load but is a pain round town would smaller pilot jets help fitted with 40s at moment and 150 mains it starts and ticks over fine any ideas please dave

Try lifting the needles in the slides by 1 slot.

needle at 2K revs? I'd look at the mixtures screws too maybe, maybe richen by a quarter turn and see if things change
