Alternative Carbs for 1100

I'm running an 1100 Kat with Wiseco 1168 big bore and 36mm mikuni flatslides and filters. It runs pretty lumpy at slow speeds and around town and I've been told to expect that. I'm looking for suggestions for alternative carbs e.g 1200 bandit or other gsxr models either 36mm or 38mm maybe,for smoother everyday riding. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

I tu. Rs38s on my stock Efe motor. Sweet as a nut. The wifes 1168 kat has gsxr 36mm carbs. Runs really good. My 1168 kat runs stock kat carbs sweet as

Have you balanced the carbs?

Has it got high lift cams fitted , as these will effect the idle.

For smooth running you better use cv carbs rather than flatties. I for one used 36er Bandit 1200 or Gixxer carbs with VERY good results.

im have 36 mm gixxer carbs on my 1168 motor and yes they are VERY good
