550 seat fitting

Post by Nigelkat » Sat Sep 03, 2011 10:31 pm

Hi could someone put up a couple of pics of how the front of the seat locates on the 550 frame. The frame and seat I have don`t have any fixing points to speak of so some pics would be mighty useful.
Cheers Nigel

Nigel It may be that the frame you have is normal GS 550 as that seat fitted differently. But to a chap of your skills , not an issue I suspect.

Yeah possibly fossie but v5 sayes 550 mx and the back end has been chopped about a bit already well before I got hold of it.
looks reasonably easy to rectify though and I will be cutting a fair bit off from else where.
