Fuel from breather

Post by flufflonsdale » Sun Sep 04, 2011 5:28 pm

Any offers on this please? I have been out today and when I got back noticed fuel dripping from the filter at the end of the breather pipe ex cam cover. Is it a stuck float ?
Cheers

Mark, just sent you a txt. Check float heights first if all.

Did the bike stutter or misbehave? If not probably not a stuck float maybe just a hickup and a small vapour collection.

try riding faster,

that should burn the fuel before it has a chance to get to the breather

Cheers guys.Yes definitely fuel Pete, it was on fire!! Went out again later to check after giving all the floats bowls a tap and it seemed ok , so maybe just a sticking float. The bike was running fine all the time though.
Thanks again, for the txt Andy! xx
