250 engine mounting bolts

Post by Kalamari » Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:40 pm

Whilst doing a spot of maintenance on the bike, I noticed that the two bolts holding the engine mounting bracket to the frame have gone walkabout. I definitely installed them but perhaps didn't tighten them up well enough because I presume they've gone down the road.

Anyway, for the meantime I can just put some regular bolts in there but I'd like to order some genuine ones. Does anybody have the part numbers for a pair that will fit?

Thanks.

Items number 10 and 11 on here for the bolts and 2 washers as well item number 12:

Item 10 is available (used on GS750S and GS1000S according to Partzilla) no problem. Item 11 though, Googling that and nothing is returned so that might be more of an issue possibly, though the image does tell you it's a M8x80 bolt so you could get that easily, just not the Suzuki looking one.

Hate that when that happens. Lost the choke lever somehow off my TZR250 last week, though that had a roll pin keeping that on so that must of fell out, but I have never taken it apart before so not sure why it happened. £30 lighter for a second hand item (from TZR125 that is the same).

I must get these manuals into a searchable PDF and into the members area.
