Too scary prices depend on high delivery and custom fees in Russia. For example brand new Susuki Haybusa costs in Moscow in dealer's shop apprx. 17600 £

I guess you don't see many new bikes on the road then.
People holding on to the older one which cost just as much to keep going

No Fred, you are wrong... Lots of brend new expensive bikes on Moscow roads. Even Bandit, ZZR400, Honda Bros or Honda Super Four (all bikes 1992-1995) cost in Moscow 1500-3000£

Re: Prices in Moscow. Just for information
Yes it is! A very huge market of second-hand bikes in Russia. 99% from Japan. Bikes are delivered to Vladivostok from Japan then custom cleaned and sold. To my mind it's cheaper to deliver a bike from Japan then from England. Depens on transport costs. Custom fee is standart in Russia for second-hand bikes and еqual to 30% from bike's price. But since 2011 due to state regulations only official dealers have the right to import second-hand bikes. Before January 1 2011 it was much more easier. Every company or private person could import as much bikes as they want

Bang goes that business idea then. back to the drawing board
