Re: Jmac ..
I only just saw this announced in FB group, I hadn't seen this thread at all.
What can a new person say who didn't really know jmac?
Well this place is like a family, it has a culture a culture that is set by everyone in it, especially by the long term members and just reading this thread you can see a larger than life character who clearly touched a lot of people.
All I can say is that I'm very sorry to hear this news and would like to wish all jmac's fiends and family love at this time and hope that these stories of his riding tales live long in this forum.
RIP Sir.

Re: Jmac ..
I'm a bit late to this as I only found out the sad news last night. Jmc was one of the first people I met when I joined the club and went to my first rally at Lymm. Always good for a chat, grumpy in a loveable way. Loved his beer and Whiskey. Hard to take in he won't be around next time we get together. Really sad.

Re: Jmac ..
such sad news to think we'll never get to see the grumpy fucker again... and when i say that i mean i'll miss him at every katana gathering i go to, every time the club or friends of the club get together, or when we go for a ride in europe only to find that john had got there before us when he was meant to be resting up. He was a man with stories, and for someone so down to earth and unassuming, he had a lot of them. He lived his life the way he wanted to, listened only, i presumel lol, to the "important" parts of what his doctors told him, and carried on riding and drinking his whisk(e)y as he saw fit. He and Belinda always shared a tipple or two of what was in the hip flask at a meet and I can tell you she was equally upset on hearing the news.
so John, I hope you are now free from any pain my friend, the roads are dry, and the sun warm upon your face. It was an honour to have known, chatted, and rode with you.... oh and of course, drank a lot of beer We will miss you more than you realise. Love Sparki & Belinda
