the thing with kats is that they tend to fit a certain size or shape of body. my 1100 fitted me perfectly because im long legged and a big lad, shorter folks or folks not so long legged can struggle sometimes.

The race kat is the most awkward riding position I've experienced (it's all standard apart from pipe, jetting and suspension) every time I get on it I have to get used to it again, style over function I think. My pop up has a nicer riding position just needs a bigger engine, oh hang on I've got one with a bigger engine, must finish it one day

If I had the money I'd have a big Kat road bike to look at but I'd only ride it very occasionally, I'd also have an RC30 and only ride it occasionally... Nothing wrong with a good looker you can get occasional pleasure from too

H my man you talk mucho bolloxo! I personally have never ridden any katana that handles like shit interesting at times but , no infact I have found the position on all mine very comfortable, handling can only be descibed as perfect if you have ever had the misfortune to navigate any roads on a 700 Dulvile!!!!!

I know where you are coming from on that. Slightly apprehensive at actually managing to arrive at EK6 from Norwich!

It is great on smooth roads for me, but doing the B roads around here just rearranges my insides so I feel that they are not Anatomically correct anymore!

It is the looks though - great when you park up.

RUBISH

I only have the one, it ani't tidy as most of you know, well not on the outside, handles well, keeps going like an ICBM ;)

always enjoy riding it, the commute to work come rain or shine, or the god knows how many miles I've clocked up going to rallies, must be getting on for 40k since I bought it back in 96.

Bikes are for riding :?:

I'm sure you lot are just getting old

You'll be putting Kat's on the wall in your living room next :D

See you next month, I'll be in the car
