fitting carbs

Post by BigLT » Wed May 14, 2014 3:30 pm

Anyone have any top tips for fitting carbs onto the bike?

I would try brute force, but that doesn't always work out too well for me.

I found a ratchet strap helps if on your own. Slowly tighten it and make adjustments on the carb rubbers as they go in (or not!!!).

Also do it on a warm day when the rubbers have softened in the sun :)
