quick question and i'm pretty sure i already know the answer....
650 rear rim is a 2.50. i presume this needs a 120 tyre?
reason i ask is i have the same size rim on my 11 and that has a 130 on it... i'm thinking my 11 has a narrower rim than it should have (maybe it's off a GS1000) somewhere along the line as it's quite a bit wider than the rim.
so... 650 should use a 120 tyre on a 2.5 rim and my kat rim is too narrow for a 130?
thoughts please gents

So... If you were to buy a new tyre for a 2.50 rim you'd buy what? 120/90 as there'll be a load less tyre bulging off the rim?

My XJ600's have a 2.5" x 18" rear wheel, standard tyre size is 110/90/18.
Here's a Dunlop spec/conversion chart. it says either a 110/90 or 120/90...The original tyre for your bike was a 4.25 x 17.

Think i'd go for the 120/90/17.
