No idea what jetting it's got - bought the bike already done, all I've got is dyno printouts and an invoice saying they'd changed the mains.

Anyway new results are in - did 152 miles main tank and a further 51 on reserve making total range 203 miles on a tankfull! - So I'm a little happier now!. Which , if I worked it out right, gives me 42 MPG.

That's better eh?

Daft question but you weren't filling it up on the sidestand were you? That sounds like about a gallon's worth of difference.
Or have you just been braver having a gallon can strapped to the seat to get you out of pushing :D :D

Much better - thought 105 miles was a bit naff!

Don't know what happened that first time - can only put it down to rougher running at constant slower speeds making me think it was out of fuel???.

Haven't got a center stand (well not attached to the bike anyway!) as it's got a braced swingarm and won't fit, so filled up both times with it on side stand.

Filling up is easier if you sit on the bike, then you can jiggle the tank and get the airlocks out this is good for about 2 litres or more.
