Moving a bike ?
Hi guys,
Anyone suggest a good company for shifting a bike rom Towcester up to Manchester, or anyone who could help me with sorting this.
No great rush, just need to know before I think about committing to buying.
Thanks
H

Re: Moving a bike ?
The company I used to collect my GT200 X5 from Wales to Norwich was J&M Services http://www.collectmybike.co.uk. The bike shop owner sorted it as he uses them a lot and it all arrived OK for £120 inc. This was cheaper than some other quotes I got myself and some were ex. VAT. He's based in Rotherham so not so far from you either (Manchester?)

Re: Moving a bike ?
I used this guy to get the pop-ups down from Scotland. Great price, top fella, looked after the bikes really well. He travels all over the country and sleeps in his van so he'll go anywhere for you, contact Darren, Road and Race motorcycle transport, 07861 666 868.

Hiya. My brother does this sort of stuff. Uses a Renault 3.5 tonner with tail-lift. Pretty experienced at it. Based in Deby, will either collect at your specified date or if you're happy to fit in with his collections will charge you less. If you want his contact details message me. Dave

Re: Moving a bike ?
Not used them myself, but these guys ( http://transbike.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) do instant online quotes which gives you a base price to bargain with others. I was looking at a bike in Scotland recently and their quote was less than I would have spent in petrol. I also used Shiply nce which went well and was a good price but last time phoning a local place found on Google was just as cheap.
