The text you don't want!

Post by fossie » Tue Jun 04, 2013 11:24 pm

It read: Robyn just got in from college got knocked off her scooter on the east lancs,
Bit shakey and sore. :?:

So when I got home she tells me that while crossing a really busy cross roads a car thought there was a gap but she was hidden by a car turning. The car that clipped her front wheel sent her over the front but the scooter landed on her and trapped her leg under it.

The chap in the car is a biker and was as shakey a her but stayed with her till she was ready to carry on , or her would bring her home if needed.

She opted to get back on and ride the 6 miles home.
She unlike most 16 year olds on scooters today was wearing boots , Kevlar jeans and a leather bike jacket. Because of this she will be able to ride a horse tomorrow ..........and again later.

The scooter needs a mudguard a lever and a mirror, which the chap is fine with paying for , he got a dent on his wing and bonnet,

Shi* happens is her attitude , her mum who has been riding for many years is a tad nervous now, Dad is both nervous and proud of her reaction.

Good she walked away from that one. As to her reaction:

Der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm.

(She's a chip off the old block, as you would say...)

Thankfully like mentioned Robyn was wearing the right gear and lived to ride again, and was brave enough to get over it and carry on "Girl Power".

Well done Robyn several would of shy'd away but, you have showed courage and been extremely brave to shrug it off.

As for biker car driver i think more like sunny weekend warrior with his new bike biker friends in their matching leathers Arrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh.
