We visited The Royal Standard of England over the xmas period as recommended on the video.. It was at night so will need to go back in the daylight
Service was good , food, both quality and portions spot on , not too much or too little, .. A tad expensive when viewed with a northerners eyes..   But not overly I suppose , but hey when the bill says " stand and deliver service charge" I'll let 'em off for the shear honesty

Overall a jolly good visit.

Glad you enjoyed, its nothing to look at from outside, but inside its really something special.

Yes, not teh cheapest, but it is one of most expensive parts of the country. I love the food and it arrives pretty quickly too, glad you enjoyed!

Give a couple of days and it won't look like summer...in fact people will be there for a week it happens every year.. ;)
